The History Of Natacha's Memoir
Natacha's original manuscript was published late 1926 in England by Hutchinson & Co. Ltd. as Rudy: An Intimate Portrait of Rudolph Valentino by His Wife Natacha Rambova. The second part detailed messages he sent to her from beyond the grave.
Nearly a year later, Jacobsen-Hodgkinson Corporation in New York picked it up, took out the spiritualist part, and released Rudolph Valentino Recollections to the American public on October 8, 1927.
Rambova’s original book is rare in any form and this from Jacobsen-Hodgekinson is also hard to find since it was printed with newsprint paper and often found in very fragile condition.
